Russell transforms its community

I've been to this library twice both times to participate in the Library Passport. Basically you go to Wintonbury Branch or Prosser Public Library in Bloomfield who issues the Library Passport and when you show your library card you get your passport stamped and they give you a list of libraries participating in the library passport and once you get stamped the different libraries (as well as your library) gives you what is being offered. For example a pen, pencil, a bookmark, water bottle, etc, are some of the things they may have to offer. The key is to visit as many libraries as you can for a month and then once it's all over you have a chance to win a $150 Visa gift card (for adults) or $100 Visa gift card (for children if you have any children participating) and all of the library passports I do believe go to New Milford Public library where they do a drawing to see who are the winners. I said a mouth full. I've been to the Russell Library in Middletown and I can't believe that I never been there when I was a student at Capital Community College. This library is on Broad Street off of Court Street which is off of Main Street in Middletown. I was trying to look for the advertisement about "Where is your Main Street" in Middletown and I was hoping to write about the Russell Library being my favorite place to go whenever I come to Middletown.
